Rankings through games of 2011-11-13
New entries: Miami-FL.
Dropped out: Iowa.
Following the Oregon-Stanford showdown, we see the (3) Oregon Ducks ascend into the top three spots hoping for a (9) Arkansas upset over (2) LSU on Black Friday. For their turnover-ridden effort, the (5) Cardinal drop three places, leaving (4) Oklahoma as the top one-loss team.
In mid-major news, (8) Boise State drops two places after losing to (12) TCU at home. Meanwhile, the statistically anomalous (10) Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles are slowly dropping. Their offensive efficiency has dropped to 16.7 -/+ 9.1 PPH from 14.8 -/+ 12.9 PPH three weeks ago. I have purchased an advanced book on linear regression analysis that should cover the material necessary to compensate for the Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, I don't have time to complete it this season. (My apologies to the our readers. This is the unfortunate downside of only doing this as a hobby.)
